For All (Financial Assistance) Memberships
We’re proud to ensure that the Y is accessible to everyone, and we never want anyone to be turned away for an inability to pay. Don’t hesitate to ask about financial assistance for programs or membership. We’re happy to help.
The YMCA of Grays Harbor is for everyone. The YMCA of Grays Harbor strives to provide services for any youth, adult, or senior who desires to participate in membership or programs. The YMCA of Grays Harbor believes a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if recipients contribute to the cost of YMCA involvement. Those not able to pay the membership or program fee may be awarded a scholarship based on the YMCA’s ability to fund the membership or program through the Annual Campaign, Endowment Support, and other funding sources secured by the YMCA. This is done by a sliding fee system and special circumstance requests.
To Apply for financial assistance for membership or programs:
- Download the “FA Financial Worksheet” fillable PDF document HERE.
- Complete the financial worksheet on page 2 of the document.
- Use the included sliding scale to determine the scholarship that you/your family qualify for based on annual income and family size.
- If you do not qualify based on the included sliding scale, we encourage you to complete the “special request” box included on the financial worksheet. One of our staff will contact you to discuss options for your membership after you complete the sign-up process and submit the form along with your income verification.
- Once the “FA Financial Worksheet” document is complete, you can complete the membership sign-up process below.
- You will be prompted to choose the appropriate rate for the membership. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, you can use the “FA Financial Worksheet” document to determine the appropriate rate for your membership.
- Once the sign-up process is complete, you will be required to upload your “FA Financial Worksheet” AND your income verification to your YMCA account if you applied for a For All scholarship. BOTH documents must be submitted to your YMCA account at signup.
